CMD Automotive is conveniently located just minutes from uptown Charlotte. A 10 minute drive up South Boulevard to Charlotte's center city and just four Lynx Light Rail Blue stops to inside the 277 beltway, we are the easy auto repair and maintenance choice for Uptown commuters.

Our convenience services - free shuttle to Uptown and complimentary light rail vouchers - are popular with Charlotte commuters. Founded in 1995, we have been providing auto repair and maintenance services in the Charlotte area for over 25 years.

Free Shuttle Service
On Tuesdays - Thursdays from 9a.m. to 5p.m. we offer a complimentary shuttle service available to Uptown commuters. Our shuttle service is open to all customers headed within 8 miles of our shop, located at 2914 Griffith Street.
Complimentary Light Rail Vouchers
Dilworth customers can drop their car at our shop and use one of our complimentary Light Rail round-trip vouchers to get to home or work and back. We are just a 3 minute walk to New Bern Station on the Lynx Light Rail Blue - only one stop from East/West Station and four stops from the heart of uptown Charlotte.
We'll pick up and drop off your car while you're at work.
Packed work schedule? We'll even come get your car from work. We realize transportation is important and we are here for you. We have limited pickup and delivery options available for Uptown commuters.

I just want to give a warm shoutout to these guys. Kevin at the front desk is always courteous, professional, and knowledgeable to work with. They always get my vehicle in and out in a day and are honest about service needed, proactive, and charge very reasonable rates for high quality service. I sincerely believe this is one of the best, if not THE best, mechanic in Charlotte. They are certainly the best ones I’ve ever worked with! Cannot recommended them enough. I’ve referred family and friends here for good reason.
