CMD Automotive has been serving the Sedgefield neighborhood for decades. Just a block from the New Bern light rail stop, we are a stone's throw from Mac's, and Poindexter Drive. You can drop your car off and have some coffee or a bite to eat across the street at Suffolk Punch or Chick-Fil-A. We've built a reputation over the years of being the trustworthy mechanic everybody in the neighborhood uses, so if you need help with your vehicle, bring it to us. Free Shuttle Service
On Tuesdays - Thursdays from 9a.m. to 5p.m. we offer a complimentary shuttle service for South End and Sedgefield customers. Our shuttle service is available for all customers within 8 miles of our shop, located at 2914 Griffith Street, across from Triple C Brewing.
Complimentary Light Rail Vouchers
South End and Sedgefield customers can drop their car at our shop and use one of our complimentary Light Rail round-trip vouchers to get to home or work and back.

Short on time? We'll even come get your car. We realize transportation is important and we are here for you. We have limited pickup and delivery options available for our South End customers.

I just want to give a warm shoutout to these guys. Kevin at the front desk is always courteous, professional, and knowledgeable to work with. They always get my vehicle in and out in a day and are honest about service needed, proactive, and charge very reasonable rates for high quality service. I sincerely believe this is one of the best, if not THE best, mechanic in Charlotte. They are certainly the best ones I’ve ever worked with! Cannot recommended them enough. I’ve referred family and friends here for good reason.
